Position: Vancouver Island University HyFlex Instructor
Join Vancouver Island University as a HyFlex Instructor in Child and Youth Care, committed to fostering student learning through diverse teaching methods. Help bridge theory and practice in a supportive academic environment.

As part of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Human Services, you will prepare and facilitate classes that cater to various learning styles. This position encourages engaging with students both in-person and online while participating in extracurricular initiatives that enhance the educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design engaging curriculum and course materials

• Conduct classes in a HyFlex framework

• Assess and grade student assignments

• Support diverse student learning needs

• Involve in community-based educational outreach

Requirements:

• PhD or Master's in relevant field with 7 years of experience

• Experience working with children and youth

• Understanding of Aboriginal cultural teachings

• Competent in communication and technology

• Valid BC Driver's License required
