This leadership role requires a proactive approach to enhancing educational outcomes for Indigenous learners through collaboration and ethical decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
• Drive the Indigenous learning agenda across the district
• Collaborate with Indigenous Education Council members
• Manage Local Education Agreements with First Nations communities
• Support the oversight of Indigenous staff and budget
• Commit to ethical decision-making in all practices
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Curriculum, Leadership or Indigenous Studies
• Valid BC teaching certificate
• Minimum three years of educational leadership experience
• Expertise in trauma-informed and strengths-based practices
• Dedication to fostering Truth and Reconciliation
