Part-time Voice Instructor

Join Long & McQuade as a part-time Voice Instructor in Nanaimo, BC. This contract role is perfect for teaching voice lessons during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Long & McQuade is looking for independent contractors to lead voice lessons at their Nanaimo location. Ideal candidates will have a music degree, Grade 8 RCM standing, or equivalent qualifications. Additionally, previous experience teaching students of all ages is necessary, alongside the ability to use standard teaching methods in both private and group lesson formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach voice lessons tailored to individual student needs

• Apply standard lesson planning and execution strategies

• Offer both private and group lessons

• Maintain a flexible availability throughout the week

• Create a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• Music degree or recognized diploma from an accredited college

• At least Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Proven teaching experience with various age groups

• Familiar with effective teaching practices

• Able to commit to flexible contract hours, including evenings and weekends
