Position: Strong Start Program Coordinator Position
Seeking a Strong Start Facilitator to lead early learning experiences at Georgia Avenue Elementary, empowering children through interactive play. Excellent opportunity to engage families in their child’s learning.

Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools is looking for a passionate individual to oversee the Strong Start program. You will create, implement, and manage educational activities for young children, fostering a playful learning environment. Work closely with parents and educational staff to provide tailored support for each child's progress, following the BC Early Learning Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design early learning programs for mixed-age groups

• Manage daily operations and resources of the program

• Document progress in a drop-in setting

• Build relationships with parents and community groups

• Liaise with educational and health professionals

Requirements:

• High school graduation or similar qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education required

• Valid Child Safe First Aid certification needed

• Experience with early learning program planning

• Strong interpersonal communication skills
