Position: Work-Integrated Learning Coordinator VIU
Elevate work-integrated learning at Vancouver Island University as the WIL Initiatives Coordinator. This role focuses on resource development, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

As a key member of the Centre for Experiential Learning and Student Engagement, you will provide leadership in advancing work-integrated and experiential education across the institution. Collaborate with academic programs, employers, and campus partners to develop tools and professional development resources. Your contributions will enhance student success and institutional priorities related to experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create best practice resources for work-integrated learning

• Develop risk management tools with compliance guidance

• Plan workshops to educate on WIL benefits and practices

• Lead grant project initiatives from proposal to reporting

• Foster a community of WIL practitioners through networking events

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in work-integrated learning

• Strong project management and communication skills

• Ability to develop supportive training materials

• Knowledge of risk management principles

• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in education
