Long & McQuade is seeking an experienced Lessons Teacher for its Lesson Centre in Nanaimo, BC. You will work as an independent contractor, teaching guitar alongside various instruments such as piano and drums. The ideal candidate has a music degree or equivalent experience and is skilled in delivering effective lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach guitar to students of all ages

• Develop lesson plans using standard teaching methods

• Assess student progress and adapt lessons accordingly

• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment

• Collaborate on lesson curriculum as necessary

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma from a recognized institution

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Previous teaching experience required

• Proficient in various teaching methods

• Availability for weekend teaching
