The ideal candidate is a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer who excels in project management and possesses strong geotechnical design knowledge. You will lead investigations, manage budgets, prepare estimates, and guide junior engineers as part of a focused, client-centered team. This role primarily involves office work while also encompassing complex project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop innovative geotechnical designs for infrastructure
• Lead and document detailed geotechnical studies
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals for projects
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and efficiency
• Mentor junior staff to enhance technical skills
Requirements:
• Degree in Geotechnical or Geological Engineering essential
• 10-20 years of relevant experience required
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in BC
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Strong project management and business development background
