As a Junior Geotechnical Engineer at Tetra Tech, you'll be pivotal in planning and conducting investigations, evaluating geologic conditions, and collaborating on foundation designs. This entry-level role seeks a candidate eager to leverage geotechnical insights on commercial and industrial developments while assisting in geohazard assessments. Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise geotechnical investigations
• Evaluate geologic conditions for design assessments
• Conduct foundation investigations for various developments
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and recommendations
• Assist in dam safety reviews and slope stability assessments
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Geotechnical, Geological, or Civil Engineering
• Preferred 1 year of related experience
• Familiar with geotechnical software (e.g. Rocscience, Plaxis)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Eligible for professional engineer registration in BC
