Serve vital hospital operations as a Casual Shift Power Engineer at Vancouver Island Health Authority.

Working closely with management, the Casual Shift Power Engineer will handle predictive, preventive, and repair maintenance of various hospital systems. This role involves ensuring safe operation of boilers and other mechanical equipment. Full commitment to safety and quality is essential in fulfilling this critical function.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform thorough maintenance on mechanical systems
• Safely operate boilers and refrigeration equipment
• Execute repairs and preventive tasks as needed
• Read and understand blueprints and technical documents
• Follow safety protocols diligently
Requirements:
• Certification as a 3rd Class Power Engineer in British Columbia
• Four years of relevant experience or equivalent training
• Strong communication abilities
• Capable of effective collaboration with team members
• Physically able to perform necessary duties
