In this role, you will bring at least 15 years of specialized experience in designing material handling systems. Your work will involve not just system design but also technical leadership, guiding other engineers while working closely with clients. Based on industry standards, you will ensure solutions meet operational requirements while driving efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create designs for conveyors, overhead cranes, and hoisting systems
• Draft technical specifications and layout designs based on operational needs
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Undertake project calculations and report documentation
• Assess existing systems and propose enhancement strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years in material handling project experience
• Canadian Professional Engineer designation eligibility
• Experience troubleshooting and solving engineering issues
• Field experience and a commitment to safety protocols
