This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to mining and environmental projects across Canada and internationally while advancing their technical and project management expertise.
- Bachelor s or Graduate degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geological Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional designation, or eligibility for registration, with the applicable provincial professional association.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hydrogeology within environmental consulting and/or the mining industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams. Spanish language skills are considered an asset.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of environmental legislation related to groundwater resources, mining, environmental assessments, and water management.
- Experience with geological modelling software (e.g., Leapfrog), groundwater flow modelling (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW), and/or water balance and water quality modelling (e.g., Gold Sim).
- Proven experience managing projects, coordinating teams, and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Ability and willingness to travel to remote project locations. International travel may occasionally be required.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without restrictions.
- Professional accreditation in British Columbia, Alberta, or Saskatchewan is considered an asset.
- Provide technical expertise for hydrogeological investigations, groundwater assessments, water supply development, drilling programs, well installations, seepage evaluations, dewatering studies, and environmental impact assessments.
- Develop and interpret conceptual hydrogeological models to support engineering and environmental decision-making.
- Lead hydrogeological investigations involving groundwater and surface water systems throughout project development, operations, remediation, and closure.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Support regulatory hearings and provide technical expertise when required.
- Mentor junior and intermediate technical staff and contribute to their professional development.
- Assist with business development by preparing proposals, developing work plans, and strengthening client relationships.
- Support strategic growth initiatives and contribute to expanding mining and environmental consulting services.
