Become an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer with McElhanney, located in Vancouver, Victoria, or Nanaimo, BC. Lead hydrotechnical design projects and enhance your project management capabilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing water resource projects with over 6 years of relevant engineering experience. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders to conduct assessments and designs while progressively taking on project management duties. This role also emphasizes professional development and business growth within the water resources sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct engineering design for stormwater and sanitary systems
• Review technical reports and hydraulic calculations
• Oversee project delivery, including scheduling and client engagement
• Participate in field investigations and site inspections
• Support business development through proposals and client meetings
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering
• Minimum of 6 years in consulting engineering
• P.Eng. registration or eligibility in British Columbia
• Strong experience in civil infrastructure design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
