SLR Consulting is seeking an Air Quality Engineer to enhance sustainability projects through technical support in air quality assessments and environmental engineering. This full-time role offers a chance to impact the mining, energy, and oil & gas sectors across North America.
As an Air Quality Scientist/Engineer, you'll be instrumental in managing air quality projects, preparing technical reports, and supporting compliance activities. Your work will encompass the operation and maintenance of monitoring equipment, ensuring high accuracy in data analysis and emissions monitoring. Collaborate with a diverse team to deliver effective solutions that address complex environmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and conduct air quality monitoring programs
• Process and validate meteorological data
• Compile compliance reports and monitoring documentation
• Contribute to air quality regulatory submissions
• Execute fieldwork in challenging environments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific field
• Over 4 years of air quality experience
• Proven expertise in monitoring and data quality control
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in air quality
• Outstanding English communication skills
