This permanent role requires a diploma in engineering and specialized civil design courses. You will leverage three years of experience in land development design, working closely with various departments.
Your role will involve interpreting and approving designs related to public works and subdivisions to aid the city's development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and approve construction designs for public works
• Liaise with internal and external agencies
• Provide technical support for development-related issues
• Assist in departmental planning for new developments
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
• Diploma in engineering from a recognized institute
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in land development design
• Membership in ASTTBC as a Civil Technologist
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered
