As a Crime Analyst, your primary responsibility involves interpreting various investigative data to detect crime patterns. Working independently, you will adhere to strict RCMP security standards while managing confidential information. This role is vital for supporting programs and enhancing police efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret intelligence data to detect crime trends
• Support criminal investigative activities with comprehensive analysis
• Assist in developing Detachment projects and initiatives
• Uphold RCMP security and data quality protocols
• Exercise independent judgment in daily tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in criminology or equivalent
• At least 1 year of related analytical experience
• Proven skills in statistical research and data presentation
• Required completion of EDCAS Analyst Examination
• Security Clearance from RCMP is mandatory
