Caregivers that can drive and have Personal Care (ex: showering assist) experience are a plus!

We are seeking a Home Support Worker to join our team at Just Like Family Home Care in Canada. In this role, you will provide essential support and caregiving services to seniors, making a meaningful difference in their lives and the lives of their families.

• Provide compassionate personal care to seniors, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing/showering, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques.
• Help clients maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care needs and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices is an asset.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting as needed.
• Compassionate attitude towards seniors and a strong desire to help others.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and families.
