Join FNHA as Director of Family Based Programs and Services, supporting Kwakwaka’wakw communities. Lead initiatives in holistic health and community wellness across Vancouver Island.
This permanent, onsite role invites you to leverage your 7–10 years of experience in health program delivery for First Nations. You will oversee development in areas like Mental Health, Traditional Wellness, and Crisis Management, ensuring services align with community values and health landscapes. Travel within the region is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct family health programs and strategic planning
• Manage nursing and primary care initiatives
• Supervise public health responses and emergency management
• Collaborate with local health professionals and community groups
• Integrate cultural priorities into health services
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Public Health or related area
• 7–10 years in relevant health programming
• Strong background in crisis and health emergencies
• Knowledge of First Nations health priorities
• Experience in fostering intergovernmental relations
Lead health advancements for the Kwakwaka’wakw Cultural Family through comprehensive program management and community engagement.
