This role involves working at multiple locations, requiring travel between sites. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for patient assessments and treatments while ensuring safety standards. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, aligning with the strategic direction of VIHA and enhancing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage patients receiving physical therapy
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Participate in quality and safety improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate empathy and sound judgment in patient care
• Educate patients about their therapy and treatment plans
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized university in Physiotherapy
• Current BC Physiotherapist licensure and valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of current physical therapy standards
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
