Medical Imaging Aide in Multi-Site

Support patient care as a Medical Imaging Aide with Island Health across multiple sites. This casual role emphasizes effective communication and collaboration in medical imaging services.

Island Health is seeking a Medical Imaging Aide who will assist the medical imaging team while directly supporting patients. You will report to a leader or delegate while working closely with a Medical Imaging Technologist. This position also requires physical capability to perform the duties required effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients throughout the medical imaging process

• Support the medical imaging team in various tasks

• Maintain communication with patients and staff

• Carry out physical duties related to imaging services

• Adhere to safety and quality improvement standards

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education plus Nursing Assistant program completion

• One year of recent related experience

• Registered with the BC Care Aide registry

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to deal with various individuals effectively
