Position: Nanaimo Memory Care Quality Living Specialist

In this role, you will play a crucial part in meeting the unique needs of residents living with dementia. Your responsibilities will range from personal hygiene and meals assistance to ensuring a calm environment and effective communication with the health services team. The focus is on delivering resident-centered care within a supportive, home-like setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care including grooming and bathing support

• Assist with feeding and encourage meal participation

• Manage daily laundry and linen tasks responsibly

• Document care procedures and changes in resident status

• Facilitate planned resident activities with engagement

Requirements:

• High School diploma preferred

• One year experience in a relevant role

• Basic communication skills in English

• Availability for emergency response

• Required health clearance from a doctor
