Casual Medical Imaging Aide Position

This casual Medical Imaging Aide position involves supporting the medical imaging team while directly assisting patients undergoing imaging services. Reporting to a leader and working alongside a Medical Imaging Technologist, this role is essential for maintaining communication and supporting the imaging processes. Physical capability to execute job duties is necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and support patients during imaging services

• Contribute to the imaging team's daily operations

• Maintain effective communication with patients and team members

• Physically perform required duties of the role

• Follow safety and quality improvement protocols

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 and Nursing Assistant program

• Recent one year experience in a related field

• Registration with BC Care Aide registry

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Strong interpersonal skills for diverse interactions
