Position: Nanaimo Memory Care Medication Assistant Role

In this role, you will be responsible for administering prescribed medications, assisting with personal hygiene, and encouraging residents to participate in daily activities. Your contributions will enhance their quality of life within a home-like environment designed specifically for residents living with Alzheimer's. Working in a caring team, you’ll help maintain their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver medications according to care plans

• Support residents with hygiene and dressing

• Keep living spaces tidy and functional

• Document necessary information regarding resident care

• Provide timely responses to emergencies

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• One year of relevant experience in healthcare

• Completion of Medication Assistant training (if applicable)

• Basic proficiency in English communication

• Capability to lift and handle weights up to 100 lbs
