Reporting to the Regional Supervisor, you will actively participate in the licensing process of adult care facilities under the Medical Health Officer’s authority.

Your role involves reviewing applications, inspecting facilities, and addressing compliance issues. You will also investigate complaints and communicable disease reports, ensuring a safe environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process licensing applications and amendments

• Conduct inspections and monitor compliance of facilities

• Assess facility staff and approve new facility plans

• Investigate complaints and serious incident reports

• Maintain documentation and report findings accurately

Requirements:

• University Degree in a related field

• Minimum two years of relevant experience

• Valid BC Driver's Licence

• Ability to communicate effectively in various formats

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
