Network and Security Specialist Mosaic

Protect and enhance technology at Mosaic as a Network and Security Specialist in Nanaimo, BC. Safeguard networks, improve cybersecurity, and ensure business continuity in this critical role.

As part of the BIS Infrastructure team, you will directly report to the Manager, Infrastructure, Hosting and Cloud Services. Your expertise will focus on cybersecurity operations, network infrastructure, and disaster recovery processes. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders and technology vendors to align services with the organization's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and improve cybersecurity controls across various platforms

• Manage and enhance enterprise networking and communication services

• Oversee backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes

• Support Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint management technologies

• Conduct security assessments and compliance initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years in cybersecurity and networking

• Experience with next-gen firewalls and hybrid infrastructures

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Valid class 5 Driver's License
