Position: Full-Time Assistant Building Operator
Join Skyline as a Full-Time Assistant Building Operator in Nanaimo, BC, supporting residential property operations. This role focuses on maintenance, tenant service, and building inspections.

As an Assistant Building Operator, you will handle the daily needs of residential properties while ensuring a safe and clean environment for tenants. This position requires performing maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical work, assisting with budgeting, and conducting regular inspections. Your proactive approach will ensure prompt responses to tenant requests and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and document inspections of building areas

• Perform maintenance in occupied and vacant units

• Maintain cleanliness of storage and boiler rooms

• Ensure completion of preventative maintenance tasks

• Assist with budget preparation and expense monitoring

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education and 3 years’ HVAC experience

• Valid driver’s license and insurance required

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and email/web

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
