Position: Metals Inspector at Radius Recycling
Location: Ladysmith

In this critical role reporting to supervisors, you will inspect shipments and ensure they conform to quality and quantity specifications. Your contributors will include identifying and documenting inspection data, as well as assisting operations to address any issues. Building collaborative relationships with team members and customers is crucial for maintaining high-quality standards in our recycled materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect shipments of scrap metal for quality assurance

• Record inspection data meticulously and accurately

• Communicate issues promptly to production supervisors

• Collaborate with the commercial team regarding delivery quality

• Manage safe unloading and traffic flow of delivery vehicles

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and customer relations

• Attention to detail in monitoring specifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Knowledge of raw materials and production processes
