Position: Full-Time Baker at Country Grocer
Join Country Grocer as a Full-Time Baker in Bowen, where you'll create delicious baked goods that delight our customers. This role requires precision and expertise in preparing breads and other yeast-leavened products.

As a Full-Time Baker in our Bakery Department, you will handle various tasks, including mixing dough, baking, and ensuring that our high-quality standards are met. You will also operate commercial baking equipment and maintain production records. Ideal candidates will have knowledge about baking techniques and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake fresh breads and rolls daily

• Scale, mix, and proof dough accurately

• Operate ovens and mixers efficiently

• Monitor baking times for quality assurance

• Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements:

• Knowledgeable in yeast-related baking

• Strong understanding of baking techniques

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Willingness to work early morning shifts

• Food Safe certification is an asset
