Torch Operator at Radius Recycling

As a key part of the Facilities & Operations team, the Torch Operator must utilize torching equipment responsibly while ensuring compliance with health and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchased scrap using burning torches

• Ensure conformance of scrap materials to company standards

• Maintain safety in the torching environment

• Detect equipment faults and notify supervisors

• Support compliance with internal control processes

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED Certification required

• Experience with torching or willingness to learn

• Valid driver's license and dependable attendance

• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards

• Ability to communicate operational issues effectively
