Drive operational excellence as a Torch Operator at Radius Recycling. This role focuses on preparing scrap material safely and efficiently while adhering to strict health and safety standards.

As a key part of the Facilities & Operations team, the Torch Operator must utilize torching equipment responsibly while ensuring compliance with health and environmental regulations. Your contributions will lead to minimized accidents, improved efficiency, and enhanced product quality. A basic understanding of torching techniques and safety protocols is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare purchased scrap using burning torches

• Ensure conformance of scrap materials to company standards

• Maintain safety in the torching environment

• Detect equipment faults and notify supervisors

• Support compliance with internal control processes

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED Certification required

• Experience with torching or willingness to learn

• Valid driver's license and dependable attendance

• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards

• Ability to communicate operational issues effectively
