Burner Role with Radius Recycling

Location: Ladysmith

Shape the recycling industry as a Burner with Radius Recycling. This hands-on role involves using torches to prepare scrap material while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.

Reporting to the Facilities & Operations Manager, the Burner is responsible for examining scrap and implementing necessary alterations to ensure quality. With a strong focus on work safety and efficiency, this position contributes significantly to reducing accidents and enhancing operational performance. Knowledge of torching techniques is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate torches for scrap preparation

• Assess scrap materials for compliance

• Maintain a safe and controlled work environment

• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors

• Adhere to internal control policies and procedures

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED Certification

• Previous torching experience is beneficial

• Valid driver’s license required

• Strong attendance record and dependability

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
