Location: Ladysmith
Enhance senior care at Oyster Harbour Seniors Community in Ladysmith, BC as a Licensed Nurse (RN). This role requires working night shifts, delivering compassionate, person-centered nursing care.
As a casual Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in the lives of residents in long-term care. By employing your clinical judgment and skills, you will ensure dignity and safety for seniors. Flexibility in scheduling allows you to balance personal and professional commitments while making a significant impact in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluations
• Administer treatments and medications per regulatory standards
• Monitor and respond to residents’ health changes
• Ensure accurate documentation of care received
• Offer emotional support and educational resources
Requirements:
• Registered with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
• Preferred experience in gerontology or similar fields
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
