Position: Indigenous Community Nurse Practitioner Role
Location: lantzville

Serve the Indigenous population as a full-time Nurse Practitioner at the Nanaimo Primary Care Network in Lantzville, BC. Focus on delivering compassionate, low barrier primary care at the Snaw-Naw-As Health Centre.
We are looking for a registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team, providing care for Indigenous patients with complex needs. Collaborate effectively with Physicians, Community Health Nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated services. Experience in an Indigenous health context is beneficial as you support holistic healing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver primary care to clients from varied backgrounds

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Support patients at the Tsow-Tun Lelum Treatment Centre

• Engage in after-hours patient support with colleagues
Requirements:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license/registration for British Columbia

• Prefer experience in Indigenous health settings

• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate

• Participation in after-hours coverage is essential
