Urgent Care Registered Nurse Position

In this temporary part-time role, you will serve as a Registered Nurse at Oceanside Health Centre, providing immediate and effective patient care in urgent situations. Your responsibilities will include adhering to quality and safety standards while effectively managing care delivery in a dynamic environment. The focus will be on improving both patient outcomes and working conditions for nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to urgent care patients

• Set priorities and organize your workload

• Engage with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Follow BC nursing standards and guidelines

• Ensure safe care practices are maintained

Requirements:

• Must hold an active RN registration in BC

• Minimum of two years’ experience in urgent care

• ACLS certification required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Capability to handle the physical demands of nursing
