Position: Nanaimo Nurse Practitioner Opening
Enhance community health as a Nurse Practitioner at the Medical Arts Centre’s Urgent Care Clinic in Nanaimo. Provide essential patient care for minor injuries and chronic conditions while thriving in a supportive team environment.
In this role, you will address urgent medical issues, offering personalized care and treatment plans. This includes consultations for various health conditions and performing minor procedures as necessary. You will also participate in overall clinic operations and administrative tasks, ensuring high standards of patient service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care for minor illnesses and injuries

• Deploy patient follow-up strategies and care plans

• Conduct consultations via in-person and virtual formats

• Document patient interactions and treatment results

• Collaborate on clinical audits for service improvement
Requirements:

• Current licensure with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Relevant experience in urgent care or primary care settings

• Proficiency in electronic medical records

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
