Join the Island Health team as a Registered Nurse focused on Community Health Services. This role requires delivering comprehensive nursing care in multiple locations with a commitment to community wellbeing.
In this temporary part-time role, you will utilize your two years of nursing experience to provide client-centered and culturally safe care. You will be responsible for effective patient assessments, care planning, and working collaboratively within health care teams to enhance service delivery and health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care across various sites
• Conduct thorough client health assessments
• Collaborate with other health professionals
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate clients on health-related issues
Requirements:
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as RN
• Two years of relevant nursing experience
• Valid BC driver's license
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Experience in community health and chronic illness management
