The Community Health Centre (CHC) at AVI focuses on harm reduction and community wellness. As a Registered Nurse with a commitment to equity, you will deliver STI testing, treatment, and education while addressing the complex health needs of clients. This position involves collaboration with a diverse team to provide holistic care at various AVI programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver STI prevention, testing, and treatment services
• Provide counseling and education on communicable diseases
• Perform client assessments and case investigations
• Collaborate on outreach and harm reduction initiatives
• Maintain patient records and assist in program evaluation
Requirements:
• RN designation with active registration in BCCNM
• Minimum 3 years experience in harm reduction
• Skills in mental health and substance use care
• Knowledge of STBBI testing and treatment
• Valid BC driver’s license and CPR certification
