AVI Health & Community Services is looking for qualified LPNs, RNs, or RPNs to provide critical care in community health settings. As part of a supportive team, you will work with clients managing substance use challenges, offering them tailored care plans and education on health and wellness. Your trauma-informed approach will ensure that vulnerable populations receive empathetic support while working towards their health goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct health assessments and provide intake support
• Develop educational materials around health promotion
• Assist clients in navigating community health services
• Offer harm reduction training and resources
• Facilitate partnerships with local organizations
Requirements:
• Current nursing designation in British Columbia
• Experience in harms reduction and primary care
• Minimum of 2 years in related community health roles
• Understanding of social determinants of health
• Ability to engage respectfully with diverse communities
