Join Fraser Health as a Registered Nurse, where you will provide critical care support addressing mental illness and concurrent disorders. This role involves engaging with diverse patients in a collaborative healthcare setting.
In this position, you will coordinate care for clients using a strengths-based model. Providing comprehensive treatment plans, you will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote recovery and access to necessary services. Your expertise in nursing will help clients navigate their mental health journeys while maintaining therapeutic relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate care through interprofessional collaboration
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
• Conduct mental health assessments and intake functions
• Provide direct nursing care including medication management
• Facilitate educational sessions on mental health services
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved nursing program
• Two years of recent experience in mental health
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Strong communication and counseling skills
