AVI Health & Community Services seeks a Registered Nurse registered with BC College of Nurses and Midwives. This full-time role requires experience in acute medical/surgical nursing and several clinical areas. You will contribute to vital health services focused on HIV, hepatitis C, mental health, and substance use.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide acute care in medical and surgical environments
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health teams
• Educate patients regarding health management
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements:
• Registration as RN with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Recent experience in acute medical/surgical nursing
• Ability to engage with diverse patient populations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to community health and patient advocacy
