Position: Licensed Practical Nurse for Home Care
Location: Ladysmith

Foster quality client care as a Licensed Practical Nurse in home and community settings. Deliver personalized nursing care, conduct assessments, and engage in multidisciplinary teamwork to improve patient well-being.

In this casual position, you’ll work independently and as part of a team, providing essential services across multiple sites.

Your role includes supporting Community Health Workers and adhering to nursing standards as per provincial regulations. Travel requirements will demand flexibility in your daily schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer nursing care and personal support to clients

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and home visits

• Facilitate teamwork among various healthcare professionals

• Uphold quality care standards and policies

• Collaborate with Community Health Workers as needed

Requirements:

• Valid registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Minimum two years of relevant nursing experience

• Basic Life Support Level C certification required

• Driver’s license valid in BC necessary

• Additional training in mental health preferred
