As a nurse at AVI, your work will engage diverse programs catering to clients with varying health goals, including HIV and hepatitis C support. This position mandates collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, delivering person-centered healthcare through trauma-informed methods. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessments and intake for OAT and EHR services
• Support clients with complex health and substance use challenges
• Collaborate with teams in diverse community settings
• Educate participants on health management and harm reduction
• Develop individualized care plans in partnership with clients
Requirements:
• Active RN, RPN, or LPN registration with BC College
• 2-3 years nursing experience in high-risk populations
• Knowledge of substance use treatment options and harm reduction
• Understanding of equity-oriented health service delivery
• Strong advocacy and communication skills
