Advance your nursing career at Vancouver Island Health Authority as a Licensed Practical Nurse. This position focuses on safe patient care through assessments, planning, and execution of nursing tasks.
Under the guidance of the Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment, ensuring high standards of practice according to BC College of Nurses and Midwives. Delivering personal care and nursing procedures will be central to your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and monitor patient health and care plans
• Implement personal care and nursing interventions

• Utilize relevant medical equipment efficiently
Requirements:
• Valid registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Perinatal or mental health experience desired
• Must complete specified additional training programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical capability to perform nursing tasks
