Addictions Nurse Withdrawal Management Specialist

This casual RN/RPN position entails working with clients facing addiction and concurrent disorders. The focus will be on detox, stabilization, and in-home management using the bio-psychosocial-spiritual care model. You'll ensure compliance with policies and maintain patient safety as a fundamental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement care strategies for patients in detox phases
• Organize outreach services tailored to individual needs
• Work independently to prioritize care for clients
• Facilitate group sessions and support systems
• Ensure continuous communication with healthcare teams
Requirements:
• Active registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Experience with mental health and substance use issues
• Familiarity with NVCI and community resources
• Valid BC Driver's License for transportation
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
