Support wellness in First Nations communities as a Communicable Disease Practice Consultant with the First Nations Health Authority. Engage in a hybrid work environment while promoting health literacy and disease prevention.
This role involves providing expert clinical leadership and education in communicable diseases. You will collaborate with nursing teams and community partners to enhance service delivery and strengthen health outcomes for First Nations people. Your contributions will be vital in implementing and coordinating disease management programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide community-based health practices for disease prevention
• Educate nursing personnel on clinical best practices
• Coordinate public health initiatives focused on First Nations
• Collaborate with health professionals on program execution
• Conduct visits to local communities for support and training
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from an accredited university
• Registered Nurse credential with BCCNM
• Five years of relevant clinical experience
• Expertise in community health nursing
• Basic Life Support Certification Level C
