Elevate patient care as a Clinical Nurse Leader with Island Health, providing pivotal operational leadership within the Medical Arts UPCC. Supervise multi-disciplinary teams while enhancing clinical activity coordination.
This temporary full-time position requires strong leadership and supervisory skills, along with clinical expertise in a multi-site environment. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will oversee daily operations, ensure efficient resource usage, and foster a collaborative problem-solving approach.
Your role will also involve mentoring staff to achieve personal and unit goals while emphasizing quality and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily operations of assigned clinical unit
• Supervise and support multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
• Facilitate effective communication among healthcare professionals
• Monitor and develop the operating plan through collaborative practices
• Implement quality and risk management initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized nursing program
• 3-5 years recent nursing experience, including 2 years clinical
• Current BC nursing registration required
• Valid BC driver's license
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
