Aquilla Archaeology Ltd. is seeking a passionate Field Director Archaeologist to guide field assessments across Coastal British Columbia. This role emphasizes leadership and teamwork, enabling you to engage with Indigenous communities while preparing essential reports. Immediate openings come with year-round opportunities in both field and office settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead archaeological assessments in diverse Coastal locations
• Collaborate with a dedicated archaeological team
• Prepare detailed reports and site forms
• Work closely with Indigenous communities and regulatory partners
• Conduct fieldwork with strong leadership skills
Requirements:
• Approved Field Director status or nearing completion
• Experience in British Columbia archaeology, Coastal preferred
• Relevant degree in archaeology or anthropology
• Valid driver's license for BC travel
• Proven fieldwork and leadership experience
