We are seeking a Loss Prevention Officer for our stores in Nanaimo, BC. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying theft, mischief, and fraud while maintaining professionalism. Your responsibilities will include conducting security audits, documenting evidence, and performing arrests as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify theft and fraud through observation
• Conduct security audits of buildings and assets
• Approach incidents with a customer-first mindset
• Maintain professional demeanor with the public and law enforcement
• Document all evidence and create clear reports
Requirements:
• Valid BC Security Worker’s Licence
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations
• Strong decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Integrity and enthusiasm for role responsibilities
