Take on a pivotal role in public safety as a Security Guard with Commissionaires, Canada’s leading non-profit security firm. Multiple positions available with various shifts to enhance work-life balance.

In this role, Security Guards will engage in access control and respond to emergencies across various settings, including commercial enterprises. Ideal candidates are attentive and proactive, ready to ensure a safe environment for the public while maintaining high standards of service and safety. Training provided for those new to the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide security patrols and manage access control

• Address emergencies with a calm and effective approach

• Execute evacuation procedures as necessary

• Utilize mobile devices and computer programs effectively

• Report incidents and communicate effectively with supervisors

Requirements:

• Must legally be able to work in Canada

• Willingness to obtain a BC security worker's license

• Must work well in varying weather conditions

• Fluent in English for communication and reporting

• Strong problem-solving capabilities under pressure
