Security Guard Position

Ensure safety and security as a Security Guard at our locations in Nanaimo, BC. This position requires a dedicated individual with a strong customer-first mindset and a valid security license.

As a Protective Services Guard, your main role will focus on maintaining safety for customers and employees. You will observe store activities, conduct audits, and engage with both staff and law enforcement professionally. Applicants must possess solid decision-making abilities and effective communication skills to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain safety protocols and prevent theft

• Greet and assist customers while monitoring environments

• Conduct thorough security audits of store premises

• Perform product recoveries and make necessary arrests

• Document incidents and report findings clearly

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid BC Security Worker’s Licence

• Transportation required for multiple store locations

• Decision-making skills for quick tactical responses

• Demonstrated ability to work independently

• Integrity and commitment to security protocols
