Position: Westguard Security Guard Role
Become a vital Campus Security Guard with Westguard at a post-secondary site in Nanaimo, BC. Ensure campus safety through proactive patrols and supportive interactions with students and faculty.

This position is designed for someone who is both dependable and approachable. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere, assisting in safety drills, and responding to incidents. Ideal candidates have experience in security or public service, bringing strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular safety patrols throughout the campus

• Act as a friendly and approachable resource for students

• Provide escorts and safe walking services upon request

• Respond professionally to incidents and service needs

• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid BC Security License

• Occupational First Aid Level 2 certification required

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Physically able to perform on-foot duties
